Earth Day Contest
This contest is to engage youth of all ages to practice being sustainable.
Plastic is one of the leading issues when it comes to reducing the carbon footprint, especially PET plastic (drinking water bottles). Plastic particles can spread and contaminate the environment. It is also a threat to animals and the ocean as animals get entangled and ingest discarded plastic. This Earth Day, let's see how much plastic we can collect to be recycled in a clean loop and made into something new!
Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries. Earth Day has expanded to become a global phenomenon and serves as a rallying call, aiming to educate, inspire, and mobilize individuals, communities, and governments to appreciate the environment's importance and to invest in its protection and restoration.
